Here's an update

OK so it's been a few months... dam I need to remember to write more often.

In May we went to the Airliner for a 5 de Mayo show. Had a blast!!! Alonso from Xoxhico was there too...he gave us some Pan Dulce for our rear view mirror. They look awesome. In the next few days I went to a Book Signing with Noe. Dam was that funny. According to the directions we were suppose to be there in 1.5 hours but Noe made it there in 45 min...lol I know right. Then when we get there I feel like its an old lady convention...poor Noe leaves one and has to see a million...lol
That weekend we had the Pan Am Festival and the Long Beach Artwalk. Omar had a tire blow out that night after the Artwalk. Good thing was we had a rental. The Pan Am Festival v=could have been better but ohh well!!! Doctors appointments and freinds in town rounded up the month. Nicole was here and we celebrated Jorge's Bday (JMV). We also went to the Viper Room with Spider & Paty to see SLAPBAK...they we awesome!!! Spent days in downtown with Nicole and weekends in Pasadena at Zona Rosa listening to CAVA. We ended the month with a Bar BQ at home. Ohh yeah did I mention Patches, Bandit & Ty had babies. Each of them had 4. Patches had Milo, Stella (Penny), Billie and Kittie. Bandit had Trixie, Fon, Vicious and Tre. Ty had Tarzan, Jane, Mo and Batty.

Well in June we had a few things go on. I statrted working with Nicole as a assitant here in California. So I approve items for production, pick up orders ship items...it's all fun!!! I vended at a Flea Market with Paty and made a great deal of money. Another one of Omar's tires poped...dam we need to get a new car. We vended our first Folk show and did great!!! Ink & Iron wa in June too, most people said it was a flop!!!! Vagrant Vial had their first car show on the 26th. Wasn't what we expected but it was a blast.

JULY - Well so far We celebrated Lucas' 5th Birthday, Deans 3rd Birthday & Isiah's 3rd birthday. Omar got another ticket...lol Delt with drama for your mama with Omar's Sister...to make a long story short on that one shes filling for child custody & child support. Omar's family is a handful....they never come through on what they say. Mooneyes came too quick...but made not alot of money.

Now to this week......So i decided that people who I don't need in my life will be deleted from it!!! ON facebook I erased G1, her cronies and Bernie....Bern just talks to me and writes to me when she needs someone and no one else is around...I don't need people like that in my life.Jeff is here from Texas and he came over to see us on Tuesday. Wednesday Nancy came over with Andre to hang out. It is now Friday and the week ended up pretty crappy. Omar has been acting pretty duchy and I AM HATING IT!!! I'm getting to a point where I am going just leave. I have given up on him in a sense. This weekend I have to deal with the drama which is his family. If his aunts talk shit I'm out of there!!!!

Well that's most of the passed time in a nut shell...I will try to keep up with things on a weekly basis....

Wow.... it's been almost a year

So last I wrote it was August 2009..... Its now May 2010. Last I wrote we had Drive & Dine...Gypsy 3. Well since then we had 4 other events and I was told in March that " haven't been putting forth the same efforts" which I think is bull shit because G1 would basically start off with the bang...then not communicate with G2 and me and then one week before the show decided shes working with us again. I F-en hated that. PLUS...G2 never had the balls to tell me how she felt, even after the emailG1 sent ... yes I was "FIRED" by email... dude is email the new break up over the phone. I thought that after the email G2 would atleast tell me sorry its how I feel too...but I guess I was just there because they wanted for what I could offer not as a friend. Since then they have had a few shows, do I care..nah I started my own thing and things are getting better for me. I wish them the best. BUT I still think why they wanted to get rid of me was a bunch of BULL!!! There is so much more but that's a different rant...lol
On the plus side I have made some wonderful friends. Cherry & Olive website is being revamped.... My accessories will be on nicolekatherine.com . Cherry & Olive has been everywhere. I did Viva Las Vegas Car Show this year & have so many shows is the works this year. Vagarnt Vial is our new project. We will be putting shows together and working with others to have a great time. Looking for new stores to get Cherry & Olive in...and today we got a Credit Card machine...yay finally more sales. I want to start a magazine....but lets see what happens.

As far as personal stuff...On February 16 our Kitty Charlie died....I was devastated. I was ridiculed by "SOME" people for mourning my kitty, but I loved him so much. Omar & me decided that this is the year we want to have kids. lol Lets see if that happens.....So that's basically the nut shell...well I know there is more but I'm kinda drawing a blank. lol Be back soon!!!

What a hectic few months

So last I wrote was like litteraly 2 months ago.

1.I had the Drive N' Dine which dam was a total mess and alot of work but it got done.
2.Then there was The Hootnanny and Long Beach Car Show.
3.After that ...geez did I get sick. Work well lets just say I am forced to be a housewife. I was sick for 2 weeks.
4.Then we had Whittier Blvd Car Show. I got so burned my sister said I looked like a rosted turkey.
5.This past weekend I had the Long Beach Artwalk. That was fun but then I went to The Airliner. I love it there...Chef makes the bombest fries...yum

All in all it has been a hectic 2 months!!!!!
I need a vacation!!!

Now I'm at my aunts house. My uncle had open heart surgery Friday and has been in ICU since then. It's now Tuesday and finally he got his own room. Hopefully he will go home soon..he really wants to go. We can only pray that everything goes great. Below is a funny picture of him at my cousins wedding reception.

Resting on your long desired vacation...

Sadly Wednesday I have a funeral. My close Friend Bernie's step dad passed away. Rest in peace Daddy George. He was and will always be a great man. He knew who were the people who would always be there for his family. I thank God that he let us into George's life. You were lucky to meet such a man like him. It was an honor to be in his life...Rest in peace George. You are now with Linda..basking in the love and enjoying that vacation you two always wanted to take...

Money come my way.....

So yeah we need money and soon. I have a few shows coming up and with working going down the drain..regular day job that is....I have to sell sell sell to make the money to be in the shows. I go to work and when I come home sometimes nothing is done. Makes me think I should just get a regular 9 to 5 and let Omar do all the work at home while I slave away at work. I put up some new flowers on myspace (myspace.com/cherryn_olivedesigns) today. I still have to put them on etsy (cherrynolivedesigns.etsy.com). I have earrings and bracelets to put up too. I have alot of work to do tomorrow.

I better not lag it. I have too much to do and too much not to make. I have Hootnanny & Long Beach Car Show to prepare for. I have to make Three of everything..can you believe it three of everything. I guess it's back to work.....

Too busy for life...

Geez...I am so busy these days I can't even do personal things I want to do. Not to mention money is MEGA tight right now. We have my cousin's wedding this weekend and all though we don't mind helping it put us in the hole. It's okay i guess I will work Saturday and Sunday to see what I can do to make some kind of money. People that I haven't heard from in a long time came up out of the blue... But you know what I don't want to deal with them. The Cat is getting on my nerves but most of all sometimes Omar just wont give up and he acts so stupid. I mean his mom is always thowing things in my face without her knowing and it hurts...sometimes life sucks....but im too busy for life these days.....

Wow...what a morning... I woke up and well I wanted to go back to sleep. I have a lot of work to do and the day is almost over. I have items to design, items to put on etsy. Sometimes I think will it ever end. Being a wife isn't easy either. that's why I don't want to have kids yet. I have a few items I need to put up on myspace and etsy so I have to get back to work...AHHH what a day this will be!!!!
